A STARRY SKY, 2008
Poster in variable sizes made of 're-cycled' commercial logotype's. The starting point in the making of the poster is photographs shot of logotype's from commercial signs (for instance Adidas, Yahoo, Chase, Kodak, Nasdaq).The photographed cut out logo's were processed in a 3D computer program, 'blown up' into fragments and transformed into a visualization of a starry sky.
The poster has up untill now been produced specifically in relation to the site, meaning the logos included has been collected on the sites it has been shown; NYC and Bangkok (see the work entiteled Starry Sky at Siam).
A Starry Sky poster was shown as a muliple in the group show Audacity of Desperation, curated by Jessica Lawless and Sarah Ross , PS122 Gallery, NYC, USA, 2008.
