'In Momentary Seizures Sweden’s much discussed summer plague, the Spanish slug, (in popular speech: the Murder Slug), systematically gets exterminated by the use of beer traps. The viewer contemplates over the indifference to the suffering of others and how we naturally kill so called ”lower creatures” because they happen to be in our way. The connotations are horrible; war rhetoric, genocide and terror. But worst is the realization that it is impossible to assure that this evil isn’t in all of us, in every human, when we without hesitation practice biological cleaning in our gardens', (English translation of text in Swedish by Paola Zamora and Sofia Curman, Konstbio).
